Shelby (Turner) Honeycutt Obituary (1938 - 2010)

Shelby Honeycutt, 71, of Winchester, passed away Thursday morning, April 29, 2010 at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 10, 1938 in Winchester, the daughter of Melbourn and Virginia (Luckhaupt) Turner. Shelby was a homemaker, having previously worked 21 years at York Casket of Lynn. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Shaunda Overla (husband, Bill) of Dunkirk; two sons, Charles Ward, Jr. of Hagerstown and Steven Ward (wife, Sherry) of Winchester; three grandchildren, Alan Garringer of Dunkirk, Cody Overla of Dunkirk and Brittany Ward of Union City; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a husband, Granville Honeycutt. A service to celebrate Shelby's life will be 2:00 pm Monday, May 3, 2010 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City.
