Roswitha E (Kauffman) Wylie Obituary (1958 - 2016)

Roswitha Wylie, 58, of Winchester, KY, formerly of Jay County, IN passed away Thursday evening, December 8, 2016 at her residence in Winchester, KY. She was born January 27, 1958 in Regensburg, Germany, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude Kauffman. She attended Redkey High School, class of 1976. She also was a graduate of PJ's Beauty School of Cosmetology. Rosie had worked many years at Jay Garment, the broom factory and Fiesta while residing in Jay County. Rosie married James Wylie on October 8, 1999 and moved to Winchester, KY. Rosie was a supervisor at Catalent Pharmaceutical Solutions. She was also preparing to graduate with a degree in nursing before she fell ill in 2013. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge. Rosie leaves to cherish her memory her mother; a loving husband, Jim Wylie; two sons, Christopher Harding of Orlando, FL and Jason Harding of Winchester, KY; two daughters, Amy McIntire of Muncie, IN and Ashley Corwin of Portland, IN; a sister, Christine Tarnecy of Portland, IN; and four brothers, Roger Kauffman of Indianapolis, IN, Richard Kauffman of Selma, IN, Jeremy Kauffman of Murphysboro, IL and Charles Vasquez of Albany, IN; and 13 grandchildren. A service to celebrate Roswitha's life will be 2 pm Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Dunkirk Memorial Chapel of Dunkirk, IN. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery of Redkey, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 5-8 pm Wednesday, December 14th, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
