Rodney Dwight Johnson, 45, of Dunkirk, IN passed away suddenly Tuesday morning, October 18, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Portland, IN March 5, 1966 the son of Tom and Sarah (Henry) Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Nathan Johnson of Dunkirk; two daughters, Sarah Johnson of Rittman, Ohio and Kesha Johnson of Logansport, IN; a step-daughter, Angel Gannon of Dunkirk, IN; five brothers, Randy Johnson of Redkey, IN, Tommy Joe Johnson (wife, Linda) of Union City, IN, Donald Johnson (wife, Angel) of Albany, IN, Bobby Johnson of Redkey, IN and Tony Johnson of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Shawna Nelson (husband, John) of Muncie, IN and Jennifer Doughty of Dunkirk, IN; a sister-in-law, Cathy Johnson of Redkey, IN; a granddaughter, Savannah Goff of Rittman, OH; two step grandchildren, Aidan and Jace Baker of Dunkirk, IN; and a special friend with daughter, Garnet Harrison and September Baker, both of Dunkirk, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents; a wife, April Johnson; two sisters, Sharon Johnson and Ruth Ann Johnson; and a brother, Ed Johnson. A memorial service of remembrance will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Dunkirk Memorial Chapel of Dunkirk, IN with Pastor Randy Davis officiating.
