Nicky (Gerstner) Bercaw Obituary (1975 - 2011)

Nicky R. Bercaw, 35, of Union City, IN passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 15, 1975 in Union City, IN the daughter of William and Lyse (Gahret) Gerstner. Nicki was a 1995 graduate of Union City High School and then received her Associates Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. She currently was attending Harrison College of Muncie, working towards her degree in Healthcare Management. Nicky leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 15 years, Kristopher S. Bercaw; a son, James K. Bercaw; a daughter, Kortany A. Bercaw; her father, William Gerstner, Sr. (wife, Sandra) of Hiram, GA; her mother, Lyse Larkin (husband, Shawn) of Union City; four brothers, William Gerstner, Jr. (wife, Crystal) of Union City, Jason A. Gerstner of Union City, Christopher Gerstner (wife, Amanda) of Marietta, GA and Byron Gerstner of Marietta, GA; and a sister, Tonya Gallegos (husband, Jesus) of Ft. Recovery, OH. A service to celebrate Nicky's life will be at 4:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Fraze-Brooks Memorial Chapel of Union City, IN. Cremation will follow. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 2 - 4 pm on Saturday.
