Melinda Carol (Bussear) Roberts Obituary (1969 - 2014)

Melinda Carol Roberts, 44, of Lynn, IN passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, October 6, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN. She was born December 1, 1969 in Greenville, OH the daughter of John and Slyvia (Canan) Bussear. She was a 1988 graduate of Randolph Southern High School and had earned her Dental Hygienist Certificate in 2008. Melinda was working as a US Postmaster in Losantville, IN. She also had worked with the Postal Service in Yorkshire, OH. She enjoyed spending her leisure time riding motorcycles and four wheeling, cooking, baking, and photography. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 22 years, Tracy Roberts; a son, Wyatt Roberts of Anna, OH; parents, John and Slyvia Bussear; grandmother, Jane Canan of Greenville, OH; half-brother, Tony Lutz; half-sister, Patricia Burns; parents-in-law, Harold and Pam Roberts; brother-in-law, Thad Roberts (wife, Theresa); sisters-in-law, Tina Limburg (husband, David) and Teresa Beal (husband, Jeffrey); several nieces and nephews; many cousins; and a beloved West Highland Terrier, Smitty. A service to celebrate Melinda's life will be 10 am Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN with Pastor David Cassity officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery of Winchester, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4-8 pm Friday, October 10th at the funeral home.
