Melba Bernice (Potter) Francway-Perkins Obituary (1933 - 2014)

Melba Bernice Francway Perkins, 80, of Union City, IN passed away early Monday, April 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born July 8, 1933 in Leachville, Arkansas the daughter of Delbert Odle and Yvetta (Modglin) Potter. Melba was retired after 20 years as a Nurse's Aide with Crotinger's Nursing Home of Union City, OH. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Danny L. Francway of Union City, IN, Sharon K. Ramsey of Mississippi, and Cliff P. Francway (wife, Jo) of Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Chad W. Ramsey, Leslie D. Melton, Michael Francway, Shelly Jo Francway, John W. Francway, Chrissy A. Francway, Misty Francway and Mary Jane Radavich; and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, John Francway (1979); and a brother, Paul Potter. A service to celebrate Melba's life will be 2 pm Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Fraze-Brooks Memorial Chapel of Union City, IN.
