Mechthilde B. Shook, 79, of Karlsruhe, Germany, formerly of Muncie, IN passed away Thursday morning, July 30, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 14, 1936 in Karlsruhe, Germany the daughter of Wilhelm and Theresia Dunz. She was a resident of Muncie, IN from 1964 to 1981. While a resident, she was a member of the D.A.N.K. German Club of Muncie, IN. She enjoyed many summers, traveling back to the U.S. to visit family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Gabe Shook (Peggy) of Muncie, IN, Kenneth C. Shook of Farmland, IN and Billy J. Shook (Carol) of Muncie, IN; grandchildren, Brigitte Shook of Noblesville, IN, Mary Ellen Shook, Kathleen Shook of Muncie, IN, Logan, Carrigan and Zaydan Shook, all of Muncie, IN; a sister, Cordula Hirschmann of Karlsruhe, Germany; a niece, Sabina Tarara of Karlsruhe, Germany; and a nephew, Heinz Hirschmann of Karlsruhe, Germany.
