Mary Sue (Combs) Pate Obituary (1941

Mary Sue Pate, 69, of Indianapolis, formerly of Dunkirk, IN passed away Tuesday evening, November 9, 2010 at Community Hospital East of Indianapolis. She was born May 23, 1941 in Welch, West Virginia the daughter of Charles and Frances (Ratliff) Combs. Mary was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory eleven children, Debi (Steve) Wilhelm of Redkey, IN, Eddie (Dawn) Stiles of Indianapolis, Teddy (Gloria) Stiles of Franklin, Betty Herring (Donald Jones) of Indianapolis, Allen Stiles of Indianapolis, Timmy (Lori) Stiles of Indianapolis, Kay (Mark) Turner of Indianapolis, Kim (Tim) Finnerty of Dunkirk, Tina Stiles of Franklin, Starla (Jamie) Cornwell of Dunkirk and Wendy (Jackie) Robbins of Dunkirk; several grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Wanda) Pasley and Lyle (Linda) Combs. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Stiles; and a granddaughter, Sunshine Gentry. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be 1:00 pm on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the First American Baptist Church 427 S. Main St. of Dunkirk, IN. Burial will follow in Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Dunkirk. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4-8 pm Saturday, at Legacy Funeral Center of 1604 W. Morris St. in Indianapolis and 2-6 pm Sunday at Dunkirk Memorial Chapel 317 N. Main St. Dunkirk, IN.
