Marilyn Joan (Potter) Patterson Obituary (1938 - 2014)

Marilyn Joan Patterson, 75, of Anderson, IN, formerly of Dunkirk, IN passed away April 7, 2014 at St. Vincent's Hospital of Indianapolis, IN. She was born July 20, 1938 in Dunkirk, IN the daughter of Byrl and Naomi (Bolen) Hancock. She was a homemaker. Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Barry Danforth of Anderson, IN and Michael Patterson of Dunkirk, IN; a sister, Marlene Claiborn of Joliet, IL; six grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Kenneth Patterson; three sons, Steven, Jimmy and Aaron Danforth; a brother, Robert Hancock; and a sister, Norma Rogers. A service to celebrate Marilyn's life will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 11, 2014 at Dunkirk Memorial Chapel of Dunkirk, IN. Burial will follow in Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Dunkirk, IN.
