Maribel J (Marshall) Coats Obituary (1917 - 2012)

Maribel J. Coats, 94, of Richmond, IN, formerly of Lynn, IN passed away early Tuesday morning, April 17, 2012 in her residence at Friends Fellowship Community of Richmond, IN. She was born August 30, 1917 in Rush County, IN the daughter of Dewey and Jennie (Dyer) Marshall. Maribel was retired after many years of teaching at the elementary level for the Lynn and Whitewater School Systems. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Jeff Coats of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Marsha Frisbie (husband, Gil) of Coronado, CA and Laura Coats of Chicago, IL; a sister, Evelyn Ellis (husband, Marcus) of Knightstown, IN; and a grandson, Doug Frisbie (wife, Jennie) of San Francisco, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Carl Woodson Coats; and a sister, Seraph Redden. A service to celebrate Maribel's life will be 10 am Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery of Winchester, IN.
