Kimila J Catey Obituary (1958 - 2010)

Kimila "Kim" J. Catey, 52, of Losantville, formerly of Carlos, IN passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, November 23, 2010 at her mother's home, with family by her side. She was born in Winchester, IN on June 18, 1958 the daughter of Allan B and Norma E. (Stevens) Catey. She was a 1976 graduate of Union High School of Modoc. Kim was employed 25 years as an Administrator at Big Lots of Muncie. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Norma E. Catey of Carlos; companion of 12 years, Mary Lou Kitts of Losantville; three brothers, Steven L. Catey (Fiance', Lisa) of Carlos, Daniel R. Catey of Bargersville, IN and Gary W. Catey of Franklin, IN; a sister, Shelly K. Snider (husband, Randy) of Lynn; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and great nephews; special friends, Mona, Sherry, Katelynn and Kyle. She was preceded in death by her father, Allan B Catey. A service to celebrate Kim's life will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 29, 2010 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow in Buena Vista Cemetery of Unionport, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 2-6 pm Sunday, November 28th at Thomas Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kimila J. Catey Memorial Trust Fund. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
