June V (Kaufman) Cummings Obituary (1928 - 2014)

June V. Cummings, 85, of Parker City, IN, went to be with her Lord, Monday evening, April 14, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN. She was born September 10, 1928 in Dunkirk, IN the daughter of William and Iva Kaufman. She was a graduate of Dunkirk High School. June was a homemaker and a member of Bible Holiness Church of Muncie, IN. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Charles; four sons, Dwight Cummings of Greenfield, IN, Larry Cummings (wife, Bonnie) of Farmland, IN, Randy Cummings of Parker City, IN and Aaron Cummings of Winchester, IN; nine grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and six siblings, Bill Kaufman, Bob Kaufman, Florence Atkinson, Violet Elliott, Crystal Hamilton and Myrtle Armstrong. A service to celebrate June's life will be 6 pm Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will be at Hill Crest Cemetery of Redkey, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 3pm to service time, Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bible Holiness Church of Muncie, IN.
