Juanita Lou (Myers) Bragg Obituary (2015 - 2015)

Juanita Lou Bragg, 89, of Parker City, IN passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon, February 17, 2015 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN. She was born March 17, 1925 in Arba, IN the daughter of Harmon and Elva (Taylor) Myers. She was a 1943 graduate of Spartanburg High School of Spartanburg, IN. Juanita was Co-Owner with her husband and Office Manager with Randel Agricultural Services, Inc. of Parker City, IN. She was a member of the Parker United Methodist Church, where she practiced her talent as church organist for nearly 50 years. She was a member of United Methodist Women, where she had served as an officer. She and her husband enjoyed traveling to Texas in the winter months. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, great grandchildren and the love of music. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, David Bragg (wife, Christina) and Shirley Hall (husband, Larry), all of Parker City, IN; a sister, Lavera Peters of Richmond, IN; three grandchildren, Allison Hall-Smith (husband, Nick) of Plano, TX, Lindsey Lund (husband, Ethan) of Springfield, MO and Kyle Bragg (wife, Marlana) of Louisville, KY; two great grandchildren, Carter and Harrison Smith; and several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James B. Bragg (2015); two brothers, Henry and Leondas Myers; a sister, Carolyn Sharp; and two infant daughters. A service and musical celebration in memory of Juanita's life will be 2 pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Parker United Methodist Church of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow at Spartanburg Cemetery of Spartanburg, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4 to 8 pm Friday, February 20th at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Parker United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home and church. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Sulfi Ibrahim and the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Cancer Team and 5 North Staff.
