Helen Maxine (Arnold) Wright Obituary (1920 - 2011)

Helen Maxine Wright, 91, of Farmland, IN passed away Thursday morning, November 17, 2011 at Parker Health and Rehabilitation Center of Parker City, IN. She was born October 16, 1920 in Pratt, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Hattie (Sumwalt) Arnold. She was a 1938 graduate of Farmland High School. Helen Maxine was a homemaker, but had also been a longtime employee of J.C. Penney's. She was a member of the Farmland Christian Church, where she had served many years a Treasurer. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Kent Wright of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Eileen Holder of Hacienda Heights, CA; a niece, Pamela Baird and a nephew, David Holder, both of California. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a husband, Omer C. Wright. A service to celebrate Helen Maxine's life will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN, with Dr. Gary Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 6-8pm Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the funeral home.
