Gunter Fix Obituary (1941 - 2022)

Gunter Richard Fix, 81, of Farmland, IN passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at Morrison Woods Health and Rehabilitation of Muncie, IN. He was born May 26, 1941 in Czechoslovakia. He honorably served in the United States Army. Gunter retired in 2005 as Machine Repair Specialist with Borg Warner of Muncie, IN. He enjoyed Muscle Cars (his 1970 Chevelle), Sunsets, Animals and Nature Wife, Wanda; Three Sons, Erik Fix, Brad Fix and Adam Fix (wife, Elizabeth); a daughter, Amanda Fix; Brother, Uwa Fix (wife, Jean); seven grandchildren; step-sons, John Tinsman, Jr., Donald Tinsman, Rodney Tinsman; two daughters, Deborah Singletary and Sherry Jacobs. Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Falco Fix; and a sister, Renatta Bean. A service to celebrate Gunter's life will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Wednesday December 14th.
