Garfield Lynn, IN 47355 Frederick Lee Nicholson, 60, of Bloomingsport, IN passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Reid Hospital and Health Care Services of Richmond. He was born October 9, 1948 in Randolph County the son of Claud and Vergie (Brown) Nicholson. Fred honorably served in the US Marines and had worked most of his life in manufacturing. He enjoyed spending his leisure time visiting flea markets and watching Nascar racing. Survivors include two sons, Derek Nicholson of Lynn, IN and Ben Nicholson (wife, Stephanie) of Hamilton, OH; a daughter, Molly Nicholson of Richmond; four brothers, Maurice Nicholson (wife, Rosa) of Lynn, Terry Nicholson (wife, Carla) of Lynn, David Nicholson of Greenville, OH and Charles Nicholson (wife, Marcella) of Lynn; two sisters, Azel Creech of Lynn and Martha Robbins (husband, Herman) of Nashville, IN; four grandchildren, Jodie, Abby and Tessa of Richmond, and Peyton of Hamilton, OH; special friends, Tom Gores and Gary Meek, both of Lynn. A memorial service to remember Fred's life will be 1:00 pm Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Lighthouse Wesleyan Church of Lynn, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember one hour prior to services at the church. Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn is handling arrangements.
