Florence Irene (Ozbun) Rittenhouse Obituary (1916 - 2010)

Florence Irene Rittenhouse, 94, of Ridgeville, IN, "an Angel going home", passed away Tuesday morning, December 28, 2010 at St. Vincent's Randolph Hospital of Winchester. She was born on March 8, 1916 in Bloomingport, IN the daughter of Levi and Myrtle (Thomas) Ozbun. Florence was a homemaker and attended Randolph Friends Church. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Terry Rittenhouse (wife, Lisa) of Ridgeville; two step-sons, Larry Rittenhouse (wife, Linda) of Winchester and Lorne Rittenhouse of Springfield, OH; a brother, Virgle Ozbun of Muncie; three grandchildren, Kyle Rittenhouse (wife, May) of Columbus, OH, Terry D. Rittenhouse USMC - Afghanistan and Sarah Rittenhouse of Ridgeville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert Rittenhouse (1982); and four brothers, Orville, Joseph, Keneth and Cecil Ozbun. A service to celebrate Florence's life will be 10 am Friday, December 31, 2010 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow at Lawndale Cemetery of Ridgeville. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4-7 pm Thursday, December 30th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Randolph Friends Church. Envelopes will be provided.
