Evelyn Eileen (White) Greene Obituary (1928 - 2015)

Evelyn Eileen (White) Greene, 87, of Farmland, IN passed away Monday evening, September 7, 2015. She was born June 15, 1928 in Winchester, IN the daughter of Joe and Ruby (Ralston) White. Evelyn retired from Ball State University's Physical Education Department. She was a member of University Christian Church of Muncie, IN and Book Club with Welcome Wagon. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Joe Robbins Greene, Jr.; two sons, Gary Joe Greene of Gaston, IN and Robin Scott Greene (wife, Kim) of Indianapolis, IN; two grandsons, Brian Joe Greene of Dale Hollow, TN and Nathan Scott Greene, of Anderson, IN; one brother, Michael White (wife, Sylvia) of Corpus Cristi, TX; four sisters, Marjorie Cochran of Winchester, IN, Patricia Odle of Muncie, IN, Rosadeane Kelley of Winchester, IN and Barbara Gillum (husband, Jack) of Corpus Cristi, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Joe White. A service to celebrate Evelyn's life will be 2 pm Friday, September 11, 2015 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 1 pm to service time on Friday, at the funeral home.
