Elva Louise (Moore) Howell Obituary (1931

Elva Louise Howell, 85, of Farmland, IN passed away Monday morning, November 14, 2016 at Parker Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Parker City, IN. She was born October 10, 1931 in Randolph County, IN the daughter of Rollie and Glady's (Allen) Moore. She attended Winchester High School. Louise retired in 1993 after 25 years in the cafeteria of Monroe Central Schools. She was a member of the Farmland Church of the Nazarene and Stoney Creek Mother's Club. She was a very special lady while serving at Monroe Central. She not only nurtured the students by her work, but also was a loving inspiration to many, thereby nurturing their spirits. Her family was her life and inspiration. She loved them very much. She had a special affection for her Howell family. She will be missed all. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Daniel Howell (wife Pam) of Farmland, IN and Dennis Howell (wife, Diane) of Parker City, IN; two daughters, Jane Steele (husband, Virgil) of Farmland, IN and Joyce Howell of Indianapolis, IN.; two sisters-in-law, Bertie and Phyllis Moore; Eleven grandchildren, Denae Baugh (husband, Jeremy) of Muncie, IN, Tori Butler (husband, Seth) of Calhoun, KY, Chelsey Burton (Michael) of Farmland, IN, Derek Clark of Muncie, IN, Brandon Cass (wife, Michelle) of Noblesville, IN, Leslie Wilson (husband, Darin) of Modoc, IN, Gavin Howell of St. Petersburg, FL, Kayla Howell of Boulder, CO, McKenzie Dotson (husband, Aaron) of Muncie, IN, Emilee Howell of Windsor, IN and David Howell (Ashley) of Muncie, IN.; 13 great grandchildren, Cooper, Lane, Amelia, Skylar, Blake, Alec, Chase, Alexa, Ian, Cora, Jazzman, Zac and Kaden. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Marvin Howell; a son, David Howell; a daughter, Jillynn; a brother, Leroy, Clyde, Carl, Richard and Oliver; a sister, Doris; and a grandson, Todd Howell. A service to celebrate Louise's life will be 10 am Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery of Windsor, IN.
