Dorothy May (Abbott) Huntington Obituary (1924 - 2013)

Dorothy May Huntington, 89, Selma, IN passed away early Saturday morning, March 30, 2013 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN. She was born February 20, 1924 in Huntington, WV the daughter or Lee and Maude (Burton) Abbott. She was a homemaker. Dorothy had worked for Guide Lamp. She was a member of East 16th Street Church of God of Muncie, IN. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 67 years, Franklin P. Huntington; a son, Gary P. Huntington of Anderson, IN; a daughter, Debra Dickinson of Chesterfield, IN; two grandchildren, Danny Dickinson of Chesterfield, IN and Jason Dickinson (wife, Stephanie) of Selma, IN; three great grandchildren, Gabriella, Joseph and Shelby Dickinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; and an infant daughter, Judy. A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be 11 am Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery of Muncie, IN.
