Donna Jean (Newell) Enis Obituary (1936 - 2010)

Donna Jean Enis, 73, of Union City, IN passed away peacefully at her residence, Sunday afternoon, June 27, 2010, with her family by her side. She was born September 12, 1936 in Union City, IN, the daughter of Andy and Sue (Blunt) Newell. Donna had retired in 1978 after 19 years at Westinghouse. She enjoyed spending her leisure time watching the old westerns and talking on the phone to family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Rich Enis (wife, Monique), Karen Burden (husband, Ronnie), Peggy Burton (husband, Carnell), Donald Enis (wife, Deniece), Patricia Montgomery (husband, Willie) and Dan Enis (wife, Renee); three sisters, JoAnn Perkins (husband, Jim), Betty Houston (husband, John) and Janett Black Frankford; fifteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, L.C. Enis; and a sister, Evelyn Bennett. A service to celebrate Donna Jean's life will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Fraze-Brooks Memorial Chapel of Union City. Burial will follow in Union City Cemetery. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11 am to service time, Wednesday.
