Diane Rawlings (Rawlings) Meder Obituary (2014)

Diane Rawlings Meder, of Wayzata, MN, formerly of Modoc, IN, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend died suddenly on Thursday July 24, 2014. Born and raised in Indiana, Diane obtained her PHD in Sociolinguistics from Miami University in 1989. A successful business woman she used her talents and skills to assist her clients, small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, in leadership development, change management and executive coaching. In addition, Diane was a licensed psychotherapist who helped numerous individuals, families and couples. A kind and caring woman with an ability to tell a good story and a refined sense of the ridiculous, Diane connected with people of all ages and made a difference in so many lives. Survivors are husband, Dave, mother and father, Twila and Max Rawlings, sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Alan Holaday, nephew Rodney (Jennifer) Holaday, niece Julie (Brian) Smith, niece Jill Holaday, great nephews and niece, Andrew and Tyler Holaday, Braden and Breanne Smith, numerous friends and colleagues. Services will be held in Indiana and Minnesota. The Indiana services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Thornburg Memorial Chapel in Parker City, IN.
