Cynthia Mae (Johnson) Polley Obituary (1916 - 2016)

Cynthia Mae Polley, 99, of Lynn, IN passed away peacefully, January 26, 2016 at Randolph Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Winchester, IN. She was born March 9, 1916 in Randolph County, IN the daughter of Frank M. and Cynthia May (Mills) Johnson. Cynthia Mae was a homemaker. She was a birthright member of Lynn Friends Church of Lynn, IN. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She was an avid prayer warrior for many. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter, Joan Pike of Lynn; two grandsons, Barry Pike (wife, Nancy) of Lynn and Grayson Pike (wife, Paula) of Charlottesville, VA; four great grandchildren, Jordan Pike (wife, Faith) of Lynn, IN, Rachel Pike of Charlottesville, VA, Garrett Pike of Bloomington, IN and Zachary Pike of Charlottesville, VA; and three great-great grandchildren, Story, Finley and Oliver. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George (1986); a brother, Joel Johnson; and two sisters, Helen Clements and Bertha Lester. A service to celebrate Cynthia Mae's life will be 10 am Monday, February 1, 2016 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery of Winchester, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 2-5 pm Sunday, January 31st at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lynn Friends Church for the sound system fund.
