Catherine Allen (Mathys) Wenrick Obituary (1947

Catherine Allen Wenrick, 66, of Union City, IN passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 14, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital of Dayton, OH. She was born February 24, 1947 the daughter of Lorn and Georgia (Helderbrand) Mathys. She was a graduate of Franklin Hights H.S. in Columbus, OH. She was a homemaker and caregiver of children. She leaves to cherish her memory a husband, Kenneth; two sons, Korey S. Bercaw (wife, Brandy) of Union City, IN and Kristopher S. Bercaw of Union City, IN; a daughter, Debra M. Bercaw (Curtis Gaines) of Union City, IN; two stepsons, Kenneth Wayne Wenrick (wife, Jennifer) of Troy, OH and Benjamin D. Wenrick of Mt.Pleasant, SC; two stepdaughters, Regina M. Bonner (Rick Schoenlein) of Osgood, OH and Bonnie J. Drew (husband, Jason) of Greenville, OH; two brothers, Wayne Mathys (wife, Patricia) of Columbus, OH and Edward Morrison (wife, Amber) of Shade, OH; 25 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Delbert Mathys; two sisters, Florine and Ester Allen; a son, Kenneth Scott Bercaw; a granddaughter, Cassie Marie Gibson; and a grandson, John Williamson Bercaw. A memorial service to celebrate Cathy's life will be 6 pm Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Fraze- Brooks Memorial Chapel of Union City, IN. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery at a later date.
