Catherine Elizabeth (Farabee) Myers Obituary (1930 - 2012)

Catherine Elizabeth Myers, 81, of Richmond, IN, formerly of Lynn, IN passed away Saturday evening, March 3, 2012 at Reid Hospital and Healthcare Center of Richmond. She was born December 6, 1930 in Randolph County, the daughter of Homer and Hattie (Hart) Farabee. She was a homemaker. Catherine leaves to cherish her memory a son, John Myers (wife, Sondra) of Winchester, IN; a daughter, Melanie Chambers (husband, Robert) of Centerville, IN; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harmon Eugene Myers; and a sister, Mildred Wiist. A service to celebrate Catherine's life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Spartanburg United Methodist Church of Spartanburg, IN. Burial will follow in Spartanburg Cemetery. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 12 pm to service time on Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spartanburg United Methodist Church.
