B Charline (Hunt) Hitchcock Obituary (1917 - 2013)

B. Charline Hitchcock, 95, of Farmland, IN passed away Tuesday evening, April 9, 2013 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN. She was born May 26, 1917 in Delaware County, IN the daughter of Thomas and Luvina (McAllister) Hunt. She was a 1935 graduate of Stoney Creek School. Charline retired, after more than 20 years, with the Medical Records Dept. of Randolph County Hospital in Winchester, IN. She attended Union Chapel Christian Church of rural Parker City, where she served and was a member of the Ladies Aide. She was a charter member of the Stoney Creek Mother's Club. Charline enjoyed spending her leisure time playing Euchre with her friends in Farmland. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Jimmy D. Hitchcock of Farmland, IN and Bruce Hitchcock of Noblesville, IN; two sisters-in-law, Marylee Pope of New Castle, IN and Berdena Hitchcock of San Diego, CA; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Gerald H. Hitchcock; two brothers, Bill and Oris Hunt; and one sister, Ardeth "Dot" Comer Slick. A service to celebrate Charline's life will be 1 pm Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery of Windsor, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11 am to service time on Saturday, April 13th.
