Agnes (Rohr) Tipple Obituary (1916 - 2015)

Agnes (Rohr) Tipple, 98, of Union City, OH passed away late Saturday evening, March 21, 2015 at Rest Haven Nursing Home of Greenville, OH. She was born December 19, 1916 in Darke County, OH the daughter of Webster and Susie (Shumaker) Rohr. She was a 1933 graduate of Wayne High School, in Randolph County, IN. Agnes was a lifetime member of the Wesleyan United Methodist Church of Union City, IN. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Daniel Tipple (wife, Kathleen) of Springfield, OH and Dennis Tipple (wife, Karen) of Union City, OH; a daughter, Tonita Kaler of Ridgecrest, CA; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Omer E. Tipple; nine siblings, Ethal Stewart, Neva Rohr, Dorothy Flory, Herbert Rohr, Gladys Ellet, Leona SuaJann, Ted Rohr, Betty Patterson and Marjorie Otto. A service to celebrate Agnes's life will be 1 pm Friday, March 27, 2015 at Fraze-Brooks Memorial Chapel of Union City, IN. Burial will follow in Union City Cemetery. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 12 noon to service time on Friday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers, to the Wesleyan United Methodist Church or State of the Heart Hospice. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
